Everything a one-person language school needs, in one tab
Teach was built for the teacher with 15 to 60 students, two evenings of classes, and no admin staff. It replaces the spreadsheet, the group chat, the photocopied worksheet, and the grading weekend.
Inside a class
Join by code
Students join with a code or link. You see name, join date, sets done, average score. Export to CSV anytime.
Sessions that count themselves
Plan sessions week by week or copy last week. The class shows sessions taught out of sessions sold, so renewals are never a surprise.
Assign from the bank
Filter the bank by exam and skill, pick a set, set a deadline. Or create a hand-graded task and enter marks yourself.
Scores students can see
Per-set and cumulative ranking on the exam's own scale: bands for IELTS, 400 to 1600 for SAT, percent for everything else.
One thread per class
Announcements and questions in one place. Students see teachers as "Mr" or "Ms" plus first name; teachers see student names only, never phone numbers or emails.
Leads and payments in the same place
Track enquiries, trial lessons, and fee status. Free on every plan, including Free.
AI grading, tied to the exam
Reading and listening are scored the moment a student submits. Writing and speaking go to a grader that uses the rubric of the exam the set belongs to and returns a band-style score plus specific corrections.
What the grader returns
- Overall score on the exam's scale
- Sub-scores per criterion (for example task response, coherence, lexis, grammar)
- Sentence-level corrections with the reason
- Two or three concrete next steps
What you control
- Whether students see the AI feedback before you review it
- Override any score; your mark wins
- Monthly quota per student, so cost is predictable
- Speaking accepts recorded audio from any phone
Grading runs on the same engine that has graded our own students' writing and speaking since 2025. It is a second reader, not a replacement for you.
Parent reports
A one-page report per student: sets completed, score trend, weakest question types, teacher's comment. Written in plain language, in the parent's language.
Weekly or on demand
Send a link or a PDF. Parents do not need an account.
Renewal-ready
Shows sessions used and remaining, so the renewal conversation starts from data.
Languages
English and Vietnamese at launch. Others follow the waitlist.
Three promises
Your students are yours
Testlyn never emails, retargets, or sells to students you bring. If a student of yours buys a Testlyn plan, you get a share.
Public prices, no sales call
Every plan is on the pricing page. Sign up, use it, cancel online.
Export everything
Students, scores, attendance, and chat can be exported at any time. Leaving should be as easy as joining.
Get on the list
Teachers who join now get the English workspace first and keep launch pricing for 12 months.
